Time to start thinking about Christmas

Rothbury is beginning to disappear in an ever deeper thick lovely blanket of deep snow, it looks wonderful but it makes normal daily life grind to a halt.... especially thoughts of Christmas shopping. It stopped the Late night shopping on Friday as well as the lantern procession f.rom Cragside to Rothbury, the way things are going it is putting the late night on Wednesday 1st Dec in jeopardy too but we will have to just wait and see. My Victorian style tartan and peacock feather headpiece is still as yet unworn. I am not realy sure if the style is a typical victoian style or not but I just sat down and played with the resources I had and put them together and hoped that it would look ok. I have added a photograph see what you thinkI have also added some pics of my latest corsages and brooch pins, a couple of them are trully VINTAGE....made from vintage lace and vintage buttons, it is amazing how a few little bits of scraps can be turned into something so pretty.
